Thank you for documenting the cultural changes going on around space flight. You might not even have thought about it, but by talking to other vloggers, interviewing space ranch entrepreneurs, and covering artists, you’re showing us that space flight is rippling out into the world.

SLS is being developed with government funding and we see next to nothing of its development. Starship is being developed by a private company with private funding and we see almost every step in its development.

I finally got my invitation for the Starlink service. Just waiting for the shipment. I placed my down payment early February of last year. Thank you Ellie for the world of SpaceX news. Great to know of the wet test. Yeah, the test should be public. Too bad you never got the opportunity to see a Space Shuttle launch in person. I was about 4 miles away from the launch. I still remember the rumble feeling from the sound waves in my stomach. I’m hoping you get to see a launch in person. It’s a very unique experience. Please remember it. Enjoy.

Ellie, we paid for it we should see all testing... what is there to hide? Full transparency is the only way. Thanks for another timely video!

Nice update Ellie. I can't wait to see the night photography video! I love taking pictures of the stars but I don't have the greatest gear to do it. The star clusters off the tail of Scorpius will be visible very soon in the midnight sky. That's always such a beautiful sight during the Spring & Summer times. :)

I believe in openness to the public and especially where to come to dealing with her money I think you’re on the right track thank you

Lots happening. One comment: I favor transparency. The press should have the right to cover this wet dress rehearsal. Who wants to cover it (or not) would then be up to the press.

The SLS is not a military rocket. It is years behind schedule and billions over budget. This launch alone has been delayed numerous times and even these last minutes delays have stymied the launch of SpaceX vehicles. Each delay costs a significant amount of money and in some cases development costs. There is only one plausible reason for not allowing the public to see this operation. Concern for failure. I want to see it and I want everyone accountable for this operation to put their name on the line. That includes every politician who continues support this travesty.

Exciting time, I'm assuming the dragon engineers now are going to work on life support on Starship for the HLS project.

Great report Ellie! I wish you could be in Texas and Fla. at both events. Enjoy the trip though!

The whole SLS saga has been very strange 😕. I think these contractors are used to working on projects that are somewhat classified and aren't used to accountability. It seems like SpaceX has ruined the party for the traditional aerospace contractors. Now the public can see what motivated spaceflight development can look like. 👍

Publicly funded and not a secret security mission. The dress rehearsal should be public!

It is always neat to watch new spacecraft go through testing. Besides, sometimes they explode.

So they're not going to show the wet dress rehearsal of SLS 🤔 sounds pretty suspicious and like one person already said the taxpayers paid for it we should be able to see it perform. Probably a lack of confidence it will work 💸
