Port of Tyne, in North East England, is one of the UK’s major deep-sea ports. Its global gateway provides easy access to world-wide markets.

Connecting global businesses and supporting over 12,000 jobs, the Port of Tyne adds some £621m to the economy. Its success is intrinsically linked to the UK’s local and national economies.

Tyne 2050 is the Port’s new strategic plan, a long-term vision that will aim to see the Tyne become a gateway for regional transformation, fully aligned to the Government's Maritime 2050 strategy and the North East Economic plan.
