Man, I had completely forgotten about the Authors of Pain. Whatever happened to them? They were awesome in NXT when they had Precious Paul Ellering with them. Paul not going with them to the main roster killed the whole presentation and they did not last long. Paul didn’t want to travel.

I really liked AoP. I thought that they had a great gimmick in NXT.

“They weren’t dangerous, they just accidentally hurt numerous people”.

Too bad Dax wasn’t in WWE about 5 years sooner he could’ve met The Muppets when they hosted Raw

I wanted Brock Lesnar to team up with AOP

Of course they didn't injure people on purpose. The same way I don't think Nia Jax was really trying to kill Kairi Sane or anyone else she hurt. Still reckless either way. The AOP had a few instances where even my untrained eyes (and I'm not eagle eyed like other fans) could see that they were all over the place.

QT Marshall turned down a match with AOP when he was doing enhancement work in NXT. The guy who replaced him got injured in the match.

This was my favorite tag team in a long long time.

I specifically remember one match where they were facing I believe Anthony Bowens from the acclaimed and they power bombed his partner right on Bowens’ head.

I called them the Botchers of Pain. I loved their theme and look but they were always making mistakes. On TV and House Shows, they’re not missed tbh

You use the phrase "It ain't ballet" but you refer to opponents as "dance partners."
