We watch your video that is very precious for us. Now we are planning to show this video to the people of Bungamati and Khokana. To give awareness for preservation of our heritage, Crafts and cultural which was demolished in the massive earthquake of april 2015.
We had founded committee "Rebuilding Bungamati" (Youth for Rebuilding).

Very interesting video of Bungamati!....but sadly, there has been loss of life ...and many buildings, including the lovely temple in the main square have collapsed after the recent earthquake!

It's not Shrong Chong Gompo but "Manjushree", the Bodhisattva, who came to the lake and cut the gorge in Chovar and drained out all the water to make this valley ready for human settlement. The guide couldn't brief you properly.
