People don’t understand the car culture anymore, evidently in the comments. It makes it so that it’s more efficient when you want to drift. Focusing as much as you can on your actions on the road rather than making sure the button is pressed in fully every time you want to pull a drift. Great work!

You can get button sleeves for a couple bucks made of aluminum, then take the spring out and it makes it a quick lock/unlock for on the go slippy choices hahaha

Bad idea xD this attached to steel string which if you hold to untie will wont work anymore when you try to tie xD

They are not the same guys the first is just a hole with a split pin in there. The second is a nicer pin with a ball detent to prevent it falling out 👍

They have a button that slips over the top and locks it in, we used that back in the day.

The best is a fly-off button which has no moving parts involved.
