Cute baby rabbit screams when getting washed

One of the rabbits is afraid of water. It's a bit of a wimp! I learned later that your not supposed to wash rabbits. Seems bizarre though as I'm pretty sure rabbits don't have any issues with rain in the wild! 30571

I own a rabbit of 2 years, it's true you're not suppose to wash a rabbit.... UNLESS it is too dirty that you can actually see dirt clumps or if something spills on him that's too hazardous to it's health for him to clean himself. The main reasons why the rabbit was screaming was probably the water was too hot.... OR because the water pressure from the nozzel was too high against its sensitive skin and the water got into his eyes, nose and ears that's why he/she was wiping it's face. To properly clean a rabbit, get a damp cloth and gently wipe his face and ears. If you HAVE to use water fill up a cup of LUKE WARM water, use one hand to hide its ears and use your other hand to slowly pour the water, starting from the neck and down it's back. The rabbit will be much more calm with this method : )

Being one of the few people that actually read the description, the tolerance of a domestic rabbit can't be compared to that of a wild one. The reason why wild rabbits don't react the same way in rain is because... well, they're wild. Any domestic rabbit would be in shock from a bath, whereas you could probably get away with it for a wild rabbit.

rabbits are never supposed to receive baths, they clean themselves. Just like how you would never give a cat a bath, you never bathe a rabbit... Water stresses them out and they can die from that stress. Hence the screaming, which is a clear sign or distress. Enough

This is torture. Rabbits only scream like this when they believe they are dying. You should never ever ever bathe a rabbit like this. They can get pneumonia, infections, have a heart attack from shock... I have a sick rabbit who makes messes all over himself and I would still NEVER immerse him in water or spray him. They only breathe out of their noses so if you would have gotten water in her nose she could have drowned. Also you probably got water in her sensitive ears and she could have an infection. Do you see how she was frantically trying to clear the water from her nose so she could breathe!.? This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. I can't believe you were laughing. This would be like if something 100 times your weight threw you into a tub and shot a firehouse into your face and you thought they were KILLING you.

It is not cute at all that that baby is TERRIFIED. Rabbits rarely scream and when they do it's out of extreme terror or pain. 
And rabbits should never be bathed unless there's something on them that makes it necessary (something they can't clean off themselves or would be harmful for them to ingest). Rabbits self-groom.
