It is a simple answer - geography. Ukraine is Europe, not Asia or South America. Those not not in Europe don't care really, It also explains why so many Americans are either ambivalent or against U.S. support of Ukraine. Japan is unique in its advanced state and its very very tight relationship with the U.S.

And just one more thing... If USA is, in theory, obsessed with spreading and maintaining of democracies worldwide... Why did they abandon Afghanistan?

Brazil didn't support Russia either and South Africa even said it would arrest Putin, if he goes there😱. Brazil would also arrest Putin, if he goes there. So would India and Pakistan. Arresting Putin is a big support for Ukraine!❤️🇺🇦

Here’s a puzzle what is the difference between a rotten apple and a new apple? Yeah - not all democracies the same. Russia is a democracy too apparently. This guy tries to sound smart - someone needs to explain this to him. And yes trade trumps everything and geopolitical factors influence as well.
