5 years later car is still running fine. Cause never found - still happens when cold outside

Hello I am having the same problem with my e46... Did you find out what the problem was?

Plus one, five years later, lol. Anyone find the cause? I suspect a crack in the PVC system but not sure it's worth tearing into....

Same problem but mine goes away after the engine warms up.
