Показать описание
The Mesha Stele, also known as the Moabite Stone, (c. 9th century BC) found at Dibon (Dhiban), Jordan contains the Moabite account of their rebellion against the kingdom of Israel after the death of king Ahab of Israel in c. 853 BC. This stele supports the account of what is found recorded in 2nd Kings 3:4-5 and gives extra-biblical evidence for several important Old Testament individuals and places.

Very interesting. I don't think I have ever heard of this stone.
