Δε Luckies are pleased and proud to present their debut digital single, titled "Before You Go".
Its primary songwriter was Argyris Tasoulas, who wrote the lyrics and the music, and decided the musical arrangements. As to the music itself, we have placed emphasis on melody and the blending of various musical elements. To achieve this, we have escalated the dynamics, while also leaving room for the development of multiple vocal lines and a strong rhythm section. In order to capture the song’s necessary feeling, we spent many hours in the studio, playing naturally/live. The listener is made aware of the orchestration’s balance through every musical instrument’s unique and distinctive identity, the result being the song’s promotion as a solid piece of work.
The song’s lyrics tell an everyday story. Interpersonal relationships in our time are, of course, strained. The emotions which manifest themselves within us are, in many cases, difficult to delineate and understand. Every individual’s personal story is only of worth when shared with someone else. However, communication often leads to violent conflict. The drive and strength which overwhelm our “id” often result in forced actions, which are, more often than not, costly. The song therefore asks the simple question: How willing are we to accept loss?
The song was produced by Kostas Basdanis (sound engineering, mixing, mastering), who approached the song with a contemporary, alternative style. Even though modern technology makes tweaking musicians’ performances easy, Mr. Basdanis decided to emphasize each individual performance in the studio, drawing out the human element without resorting to studio trickery. This was a major success, and is evident in the final product.

Δε Luckies recorded the digital single "Before You Go" in June of 2016 at Rana Studio, in Ioannina, Greece.
