I could literally fight off two mindflayers, a ferryman, and a insurrectionist with relative ease. Then the next wave I fuck up three rocket rides and die OR I really blow it against a sword machine for trying to be cool.

if you're moving in a downwards velocity you can whip a rocket to ride it

Instead of trying to directly ride a rocket instantly, you can also try to shoot right below yourself and whiplash the rocket
