Roundhouse Sleepover | Celtic Harmony | Gifted Stay

We were recently invited to spend the night in a Celtic Roundhouse nestled in the forests of Hertfordshire - Excitedly, we packed our bags, grabbed a camera and set off for our prehistoric sleepover.

This was our first night away from home since baby Poet was born, so we weren't sure how it would go, but we needn't have worried...

The Roundhouses we're incredibly beautiful and despite being made with traditional Iron age techniques, were still very comfortable by modern standards (They have electricity, lighting, heating and hardwood flooring).

The sleepover was part of a much bigger experience, including an evening of traditional story telling and cooking marshmallows around the camp fire, a bat walk and barbeque.

After an amazing evening, we all settled into our roundhouse and slept very well, before waking up fresh and ready for a full day of activities, including traditional crafting, music, food and a forest quest.

We loved capturing these memories to share with everyone, we will certainly remember our time here very fondly... BUT... This video does not do justice to the incredible place that is Celtic Harmony Camp. We wholeheartedly recommend that you check the place out yourself.

The staff are incredible, the facilities are good (and good for the environment - composting toilets etc) and the activities were perfect for all ages.
