I bought my 1966 cb450 like this one, new from long beach honda long beach calif for 460 bucks new out the door price. ran it hard and fast for over 60k and it never failed. what a great motorcycle. it only had 4 speeds and you could not drive 55 because the engine would buzz at that speed. 4 speed trans. 1, oops, 2, 3, 4  one great thing on the bike were the dunlap tires. stuck like glue. mine had the carbs jetting tracked properly at the dealer and put out 46 hp. I never monkeyed with the carbs. Yes, it was the first japanese super bike. would cary me at 105mph as long as I wanted to and often. Drive chains lasted about 10k. sprockets never wore out. I put new points in it at about 30k. sold it when I got married and had little children to raise. Miss it often.
