Writing this comment as my earlier comment is not among the comments.
Just have to say hugely disappointed in Fareed Zacharia saying that Modi’s more capable of making a difference on the world stage than his predecessors. Forget the world the Man doesn’t even care for his own country. All he wants to do is loot India to enrich Gujus and Gujarat. Nehru on the other hand was a man of immense character and would have been widely respected today for his stature, intellect, integrity and empathy. Something all people of character will recognise except third rate guys. His voice would have been loud and clear against Putin and Netanyahu for he would have really felt the pain and plight of the Ukrainians and Palestinian. Yo expect Modi to feel it even remotely is to be stupid. He’s been buying Putin’s Bloodied oil to enrich Ambani not India. All he cares for is to loot India and enrich Gujus and Gujarat.
Fareed’s evaluation in this regard is obnoxious and clearly suggests his views can be extremely pathetic. Mehdipatnam Hassan, also of Indian origin is far far more passionate about the situation and feels the pain of the Palestinians and so will never say such dumb things
