😭 Destiny is all 😭What did you think of the last of The Last Kingdom?

It was to rushed for my taste, Would have been better if they had a 3 part series each one lasting an hour and half .

I love the Valhalla scene but there are some people missing: Erik, Ragnar the younger, Sigtryggr, Gisela

I think this needed to be a 3 or 4 part movie mini series. Or just the 6th season of the last kingdom, I'm upset that we didn't get to see Stiorra or Edwards mother

It felt SUPER RUSHED. My wife and I couldn't keep up and had to constantly pause it to talk out what was happening. Each scene flew by so fast. Netflix really should have given it one last season to tie it up, not an hour and a half movie with half the cast missing.

I chose to believe Uhtred went to Valhalla and he was emotional because he was leaving his life and loved ones on earth behind. What a great ending. This was such a great series and the movie was a fitting end for Uhtred.

Did anyone else get chills down their spine watching Uhtred reunited in Valhalla with all the original warriors!?

Going by the books...the seven kings that had to die also includes Alfred the Great, as he was alive when the prophecy was given in the books. Seven Kings Must Die before England is united. The prophecy comes true when you consider Uhtred was never a king, even if some claimed he was, he never actually took that title. In the books, Uhtred survives as he is the narrator of the story.

I saw the movie 2x.. Both times I cried like a baby.. The ending, omg.. He’s stuck in the spirit plane.. He’s only realized he is on the verge of Valhalla but isnt ready just yet to set foot in it just yet, even with the chair at the head of the table waiting for him. Long Live Uhtred The Bold….

I am Northumberland, born & breed. Bamburgh really is as beautiful as it looks. Northumberland has over 70 castles, more than any county in the UK. Not forgetting hadrians wall, which inspired the wall in game of thrones! There is so much history on our doorstep.

You could really feel how this should have been a whole season instead of just 2 hours. To many events just popped up and the tension did not have time to build. It was still good but it is a shame that we didn't get a final season.

The ending man. Uhtred standing there between worlds with that broken look on his face, in immense pain and clutching his robe almost as saying hes scared and doesnt know what to do, just like always. Should he fight to stay alive or to give in and die knowing Alfred's dream was realized and that he will die a man of honor? It was that look on his face, almost the same face he had on the slave boat when his friend was hoisted to the hull and died. It broke my heart so much that I cracked and sobbed like a child, thankfully I was alone when I watched it. No show has ever provoked such emotion out of me and I doubt one will again for a long time. What a fantastic show, all the way through as well as a damn near perfect ending.

Destiny is all.😢

Couldn't wait to see them again: Uhtred, Finan and Syrtric... it's amazing how you get invested in characters and shows and this was just great!!!! Yes, it was too rushed but at least we got an ending and these actors, WOW! Amazing casting and great series!!! ❤️❤️❤️

This had to be one of my favorite Netflix series! All of the characters were amazing, but my favorites were of course Uhtred, Finan and Sihtric. I am so sad it had to end. Great story telling and acting! ❤️❤️

It seemed a bit rushed but I enjoyed it a lot. I really wish they kept the story going, the show is amazing.

Bernard Cornwell is, in my opinion, something of a genius. His storytelling is so well crafted that we are educated about the history, and the characters, seamlessly, even when it is complicated by obscure ancient names and cultural differences. Cornwell has said he does not edit, but prefers to rewrite. When the battles, or quests, are over we know who did what, and why, as if we were participants. I felt that ended after the third year of the show, when he stopped guiding it, and was even more evident here, in the Seven Kings. They made a good effort to include the Cornwell elements, but without his control the storyline, the editing, became choppy. Even hard to follow. So, Mr. Cornwell, if by chance you ever read this, my message to you is Thank You, Thank You, Thank you and Thank You again. I've read almost all the books and each one was a gift. A gift of immense pleasure and reward, with almost nothing repaid in kind. So thank You, Again.

I enjoyed it, but things moved too fast for my taste. There wasn't time to make Olaf interesting, and the battle of Brunanburh, the most important battle for England during the medieval period next to Hastings, felt rushed, especially the pre-battle phase. This should have been a season 6.

I feel like we did not get enough Uhtred in the movie . They should have given us another season .
