I live in Las Vegas and I can absolutely tell you the economy is ruined here. I'm leaving in 2 weeks heading to another state and starting over.

A heart-wrenching look at how ordinary Americans struggle to keep a roof over their heads in the city that defined glamor and glitz. This is journalism at its best.

Curly Top Bakery is a fantastic company with an amazing product! She was very active in the community often times giving food and her cookies to the homeless and less fortunate in Las Vegas.

I live in Las Vegas, and all 4 of my grown children work on the strip in hotels .. all four are not currently working and my Grandchildren are starting to worry themselves not knowing that this is not a normal way of life . I am a live in caregiver so I am blessed to still be working . I am scared for my children and all ten of my grandkids!
Thank you for this documentary, I shared it to my Facebook.

I live in Las Vegas. I'm a server at Olive Garden. We're currently operating at 25% capacity with a max of 4 ppl per table. Needlessly to say were working very little and making next to nothing. Nearly 300k people in Nevada are currently unemployed. The eviction moratorium has ended and tens of thousands will be on the streets by the 1st. Our homeless population may double before the New Year if judges don't stop granting evictions. There is no relief coming. This is so unfair and it doesn't have to happen.

The way these people are handling their struggles is humbling and heartbreaking. Our elected officials in Washington have utterly failed everyday Americans.

I live here in Vegas, it is really rough right now for tens of thousands, myself included. I pray for all of us, here and everywhere else. I love you my brothers and sisters. Keep your heads up, fight on. It's not easy but with good strong will, the right mind set... We can overcome all of these obstacles. Stay strong stay safe🙏❤🕊

When asked if "you're keeping the American dream alive" and you answer "yes" through tightly clenched teeth, not a single jaw muscle moving- the answer is actually "NO".

Watching these interviews is so humbling for what many families are going through. It really makes you appreciate the roof over your head and meal in your belly knowing it could all be gone tomorrow. We are a family in the service industry and everyday is uncertain.
