I don't care overly much about the font. I think a nod to Hedwig's Theme would be nice, but not required. If they're going to use it entirely they need a different arrangement or something, but I think they're better off with a few bars of it and then something completely new. It might be fun if they dropped the first few bars to the baseline with something else over the top or played with it as a motif that's a bit subtle but recognizable if you're listening for it.

The thing with anything that's supposed to be a kids' show is that it should have something for adults too. That could, in part, be little Easter eggs from the movies. Obviously visual motifs, but aural motifs could be there too.

I understand you not feeling like putting the time into editing the video on the chance it flops, but personally I would LOVE to see how you would structure a Marauders prequel.

The theme was literally written by John Williams, one of the greatest composers of all time. Warner owns that IP, they would be dumb as hell not to re-use it in some shape or form.

The show can still be totally fresh whilst retaining elements that made the original films great. It will need a solid show runner with a strong vision throughout to bring the books to a series script. Someone like Craig Mazin for a project like this would be awesome, if he were willing to commit to it long term as he’s proven himself with Chernobyl & The last of us.

The main drawback of making a HP series so close to completing the movie series is it’s only been 12 years and ALL the movies and details are extremely still vivid in our minds.
Due to this main fact fans still see the font, music, cast etc. as the end all HP design. They SHOULD have new everything…. So it’s original and not piggybacking on the movies. They need to make their own mark and not rely on sentimental feelings from certain staples brought to us by the films. If they use the same music the fans will instantly (even more so than if they didn’t) compare the two medias. They really should attempt to be as original as possible.

1: new logo - get an old typewriter. Type out the name. Presto!!
2: music - You need new music, unless you want to pay John Williams for original themes, or subsequent composers.
3: I enjoyed the books, and films, and fantasy. I have been a Teacher, and Librarian. I am now 54 years, and now, I am not sure about the “need” to re-film these books. I think it needs another decade between. The Fantastic Beasts films started out fine - by the third, I really didn’t care. 📚

Don’t change the logo for Harry Potter. Them changing the logo for Harry Potter is them changing the logo for Target. Do you guys remember when the Gap changed the logo back in 2010? They got a huge backlash and they had to change it back to the original.

I have been following this channel for years. I can’t remember exactly how long, but I can remember back when you guys went on the red carpet to the premiere of The crimes of Grindelwald… I stay because it’s a great channel. Amazing content. Well thought out content researched fact checked…. I can’t imagine the hours you spend reading material for your videos…. I went a very long time without getting any notifications for your channel. I have always had to go search for the videos myself because you are very consistent and I knew they were out there. I think some of the issue is that people move on from one show to the next.. but I think, this next generation will amp the show back up and get you where you need to be in the algorithm. Because for every fan that leaves, two more will come along… The one thing I have noticed, is, the quickest views are in the shorts…hang in there!!

About Hedwig's theme, I think they should do what the ONE PIECE Live-action did...the used some of the iconic music from the anime but changed it quite a bit, while still preserving the feel of it ...and they used them only in the most Epic moments...it almost felt like Easter Eggs

The font comes from the books; it should stay. The music is somewhat malleable, but "Hedwig's Theme" pretty much *is* the series theme so they really should do something along the lines of variations on a theme; similar sound, similar pacing, at least a little of the oh-so-recognizable theme in the opening bars. (At the risk of becoming hater bait, look at the musical theming in some of the different Star Trek series.) As far as animation... NO. Just... NO. This needs to be live action for a variety of reasons, not the smallest of which is that being "a cartoon" will likely doom it to an early grave.

My Idea of the Harry Potter Remake TV Series.
- Make the story set in the 2020's.
- I would like to see a meta jab on Donald Trump. The idea of political views, or (lack there of).
-Why people had sometimes rarely seem interested in political views or political activism alike.
-And a modern day England. With a cast of diversity, the empowerment sides of the MeToo and LGBT movements. And the commentary of social media, destiny, friendship, and hope as well. Since I am considered a Zillennial. I prefer more a more modern feel of Harry Potter instead of the time the books took place. The books have been a product of it's time. I want something different, experimental, like a feel of a deconstruction story. That's my idea and concept of what deconstruction stories can become. I liked it when The Dark Is Rising was set in America. I liked when the main protagonist of that film, was 14 instead of 11. Films like Stand By Me, Percy Jackson, It Part 1 and It Part 2, The Hunger Games, and even lesser known ones like I am Number 4, The Golden Compass, and Artemis Fowl do this as well. They were taking the deconstruction route. Even if the creator of the Harry Potter books is against the idea. I care. I prefer deconstructions. They can be what they want to become. That would be my own idea of the Harry Potter TV series Remake.
