Careful with those street preachers - I've been beaten to a pulp by one six years ago because I made out with my bf (now ex) in front of the preacher, to piss him off.

To elaborate, we were minding our own business just holding hands in a large park- he saw this and immediately started following us around the entire park with a megaphone while yelling and shouting hateful, graphic, and disgusting homophobic things at us nonstop- everytime we tried to get away from him he'd chase us down with that megaphone.
It didn't matter where we went.

My ex was getting scared because it was evident the preacher wasn't going to leave us alone, no matter how far we went.

So, I kissed my bf.

Those homophobic street preachers were at pop up pride the year before too. Came at pick up though that year and because it was much smaller they didn’t leave nearly as soon.

This year I hear they left when it became too much for them to continue being hateful.

I was at pride a couple weeks ago in my town and there was one of those speaker freaks there and so I started making various animals noises when he spoke "insert warped bible references-" "*intense gorilla noises at the top of my lungs as I danced around across the street making everyone who passed by laugh*" he got so pissed😂 but hey! I made so many people smile!
