Amber raises an excellent point here. Every time I hear about low level staffers actually weeping during a meeting I wonder where the adults are in the room.

Best interview I have heard in a long time. I saw nothing hostile about the interview, rather it is the most intelligent interview i have seen in years.

It's laughable how much time media types such as these (and many others) spend pretending that they're not the ones driving the bus when it comes to all the nonsense we hear about.

More people need to see this complete story and how it unfolded. This is a good indication of how the various networks become so biased. They are forced to be that way by network producers and owners. If reporters do not follow the networks biased outlooks or the parties they back then they do not have a job.

Please keep these three hosts. I'm really tired of listening to nutjobs first thing in the morning.

This is the dream team (Niall, Robbie, Amber) right here! No hysteric high pitch deranged rants, just good discussion and perspective. Bravo The Hill! 🎉

This is rich. If only The Hill agreed with Robbie’s perspective. They have fired two contributors over their “controversial” comments about Israel and Palestine.

I did not see any issues with that interview actually, the interviewee handled it quite well.

I got one question for Robbie and the Team at the Hill, why did you guys let go Briana? Hypocrisy at its finest!

As much as I completely disagree with Briahna Joy Gray, but the fact that she was ousted by The Hill from voicing her opinion was disappointing. This similar action was made when they forbade Kim Iversen to question Fauci because she was known to question the narrative of the government in that particular subject matter. I think The Hill is standing on a very shaky ground when it pretends to defend free speech and free press.

It’s simple: either you’re pro apartheid’s or you’re not; either you’re pro Jim Crow or you’re not; either you’re pro apartheid South Africa or not. Own your stance and let’s start the discussion.

When did we decide tantrums, safe spaces, easily offended people have more rights than…grownup reality.
It’s exhausting.

Please give me a break, no one is upset about asking TNC hard questions, the issue at hand was Dokoupil essentially calling TNC a terrorist is what people find objectionable. Btw, TNC totally eviscerated Dokoupil's biased line of questioning.

An internal debate over CBS News host Tony Dokoupil’s pointed interview with author Ta-Nehisi Coates about Israel has spread to the boardroom, with the chief of the network’s parent company saying Wednesday that it was a mistake to reprimand him.

Shari Redstone, o utgoing head of Paramount Global, expressed support for Dokoupil while speaking at a conference sponsored by Advertising Age on Wednesday. CBS News leaders on Monday had reprimanded Dokoupil, a “CBS Mornings” host for an interview they said didn’t meet their standards.

If someone from a different country came to the US for 10 days and wrote a book about the economical situation of blacks and provided his opinion for the causes, but omitted completely the history of slavery and Jim Crow—would it be racist for journalist to do their job and ask them why they omitted such fundamental part? And how can their conclusion (as expert of 10 days in a place) be relevant if they didn’t consider slavery and Jim Crow as part of their analysis.

Niall is probably the best representation of a Leftist thinker. I hope they keep him on.
