A fight against the heroes doesn't go as planned and as a result, Izuku gets injured and passes out from the blood loss. Dabi takes one look at him and freezes for a moment before letting his emotions take over. Aizawa having his eyes open for too long caused him to blink, and in that split second Dabi, being filled with intense anger released all his power causing the eruption of his flames and the heroes messed up big time. From anger Dabi’s flames get bigger they start causing mass destruction and injuring many heroes.

Dabi gets careless once he finds Izuku in an alarming state and his emotions get the better of him. Izuku is the only person he cares about to the point he will kill everyone and destroy everything in his way.

Even though the description tells us why Dabi's quirk activated even though Aizawa had erased it, I've found that the thought of Dabi's emotions being so great that he somehow broke through Aizawa's quirk, so entertaining that I'm just going to ignore the real reason. :)
