I don't know if it was bait, but the power of the first ability is not at all for stalling out the game. someone can't choose to do an action that stalls, that's not how that works. if someone is intentionally stalling, they get punted out. the actual power of the card is for other cards that trigger on ETB, since it's a one card infinite combo for etbs

The first print of "Ugin the Spirit Dragon" had a HILLARIOUS missprint in the german version.

The -X ability to nuke everything colored with x or less cmc was translated to x or MORE cmc. 😂

Ambassador Blorpityblorpboop had a day zero errata! The initial wording made it so that its p/t were both equal to the total power and toughness of each p/t sticker you had (p = p꜀ + t꜀/t = p꜀ + t꜀) but the errata made it so that its power was equal to the combined power and its toughness was equal to the combined toughness (p = p꜀/t = t꜀) (꜀ means combined here).

There was a 2 mana 2/2 construct creature when it died everyone draws a card. It had no artifact printed on it, but I'm not sure if it was intentional foreshadowing. Edit, it was the 2 mana construct that can tap to place down a land from hand.

I remember there was an orzov uncommon zombie lord about 8 years ago that was accidentally printed as a 2/3 and quickly changed back mid print to a 2/2 in like a month

The prismari / izzet commander from strixhaven. Printing on the card refers to a typo of his name, effectively making his ability not work

Xantcha Sleeper Agent had a day zero errata that technically patched a weakness but also made her much less fun as a Commander. By the printed wording, when the player you gave her to loses the game, she should return to her caster - meaning that with Harmless Offering or Assault Suit, she can any Auras you cast on her or counters you placed, plus you could buff her up further while she's with you with Equipment before sending off to another player again. But she was changed so the control change is a replacement effect, so she'll be exiled instead when the player you gave her to dies. Sure, you can put her in the command zone if she's your commander, but you'll have to buff her all over again, and can never equip her.

Marath, Will of the Wild was day 0 errata'd because the ability to remove X counters to produce an X/X elemental wasn't noticed to produce infinite tokens with a hymn effect in play.

I’m going to throw out this error, because it’s my favorite. When Strixhaeven came out, there was a commander deck with Zaffai, Thunder Conductor, as the commander. In the card’s ability box, the name of the card is changed from Zaffai, Thunder Conductor to Zaffai, Thunder “Collector”.

Teferi, Hero of Dominaria. His original printing said "untap two lands" which was changed to "untap up to two lands"

Wyll, Blade of Frontiers and the Barbarian Class both give advantage on die rolls, giving you a 65.7% chance of hitting this effect if both are active assuming both mean you only take the highest (see the math below). But both state “roll 1 additional die and ignore the lowest roll”, so you would actually roll 2d20 and add them- giving a 77.25% chance of hitting without even factoring in the fact that you drop the lowest (not sure how to do that math, if someone wants to explain please do. Got the calculation from omnicalculator).

Delina is insane, with these two commanders alone there’s a 50/50 chance of getting 4+ dupes of a creature. Might not sound that insane, but just imagine having a buffed-up creature or commander that you then make a ton more of every combat.

(Hits on a 15 to 20=30% activation chance so a 70% chance it doesn’t it, 0.7^3=0.343, so a 34.3% chance it doesn’t land with triple advantage, which is a 65.7% chance it does.
