The Caro-Kann was the first opening I learned and the opening I'm most familiar with. I LOVE your interpretation of the opening. You prove by showing actual lines, that the Caro-Kann certainly is an opening to play for the win! One can play aggressively, and one can play positionally. One gets to know so many pawn structures and middle game ideas, that it was the best thing that ever happened to my chess.

Well done! This is the best Caro Kann video I have seen on YouTube. I really like your approach to the Fantasy Variation which is what I use in my own games. It is solid and easy to play. Thanks for putting together a great lesson on this opening. For years I played the dragon against e4 openings but switched to the Caro Kann with much better results.
