This Toast is Toast | MOLD under the microscope

I put some mold under the microscope. The spores are visible in bright field as well as in phase contrast. I also look at it using my stereo microscope. I found the mold on toast bread. Too much moisture can contribute to the growth of the fungus.

For all of those thinking that you can just cut the mold out, please don't. Fungal roots form that travel through the entire piece of bread. And even if it isn't a type of fungus that does this it's still a bad idea, also, gross.

Great content! This year ill need to study this fungi subject again, so its good to see some pratical content. 👍👍👏
