"Toxic fandom" isn't a problem. Toxic content creators and producers ARE. People have every right to decide what they will watch and what they won't. To chastise people for not liking something you created because they "should" like it is the height of arrogance, pride, and borders on the delusional. It goes beyond sanctimonious, we don't watch entertainment to be preached to about anything, including the cult of "diversity" that has grown up that treats any variation from its "tolerance" and DEI dogma like something to be met with auto da fe, ritual burning at the stake, and accusations of original sin. We are sick of both their ideology and their extremist zealotry in trying to force their views down everyone else's throats in every aspect of life.
