Dear Doctor. I'm in South Africa under the state hospitals. I was told to buy herceptin as the hospitals don't carry it. Its too expensive for me to buy. So my oncologist suggested Cisplatin for x3 does. This will bring my total chemos to x12 sessions.
I have an aggressive tumor size 9.5 cm x 6 cm in my left breast. It was responding very well to chemo. But there was a 2.5 gap whilst I was in queues. Will Cisplatin work on my HER 2 positive and neg cancer ?
