What a crock of BS! If I'm a fallen vet & my drivers want to grab a coffee on the way, it's no disrespect to me... Tip one for me boys!

The only outrage here is the way they parked the hearse. I hate when people take up two spaces with one car!

Its impossible to drive non stop from Florida to Washigton, D.C. without stopping. It would be a little different if it was a short drive from the funeral home to the cemetery but to be expected to drive across all those states non stop is absurd. Peeing, eating, hell getting gas is necessary and cant just be ignored for hundreds of miles.

Thank you to this Vet for his service! As far as the drivers of the funeral coach, I am a funeral director as well! I have been in the funeral ministry for my whole life. I stop for drinks and food all the time! You do have needs and just like anyone else on the road, you need to stop and stretch! I am sorry your owner did not stand behind you. Even after the family was against the termination of these men! SAD!

So if you can’t stop to use the bathroom, are you supposed to wear an adult brief? Doesn’t sound realistic to me!

People are outraged about some dudes in a hearse needing to take a piss and get a drink but won't give two shits about veterans on the streets.

I think this funeral home should be closed down for firing those employees

As a retired U.S. Navy veteran, I love coffee and have no issues with the drivers stopping for coffee

if the driver and the funeral director didn’t make the stop, they would’ve been the next ones attending a funeral (their own)

People are too fragile these days, I'm sure the soldier was in no hurry.

If I’m dead I wouldn’t care if they stopped for coffee not their fault for being a functioning humanoid 💀

Maybe it is a long drive and the driver needs to go to the washroom.

It's not as if they were parked outside a fancy restaurant and having a 5 course meal.. they're also humans who needed a break from a long drive.. a little consideration maybe.

There’s a Living human being in that car who’s trying to survive and live well. Leave them alone! Let them enjoy their coffee.

If I was dead and being transported this would NOT bother me.

It's no reason for firing an employee. They are humans.

You serious? They are allowed to have a drink, en route to a funeral.... i hope the person who recorded this and got them fired losses their job! Disrespectful? How?

2:00 " I think if they had the ability to turn their day back, they'd do things differently".

elsewhere he said "These guys were standup guys, and they just made a bad call"

What kind of employer acknowledges the good will of their employees, but fires them anyway?  Disgraceful.

So if he wasn't a fallen veteran no one would've been barking

That's crazy. If the person needed a cup of coffee to stay alert and to be more relax while in route to the service there a should not have been a problem. Also, the driver was probably a block from the location and extremely early at church. He or she felt they had enough time to stop for a cup oc coffee
