Hey girl, from a hairdresser you just have to let them grow out hun, just leave them don't shave them. You can make them sleek with wax or gel most girls do this using a toothbrush with the wax/gel and it will make them lay flat whilst they grow back xx

i did the same thing w my hair!! i got hair jel (often used on african american type hair) and a toothbrush and tried to sweep it over. sorry i know that’s probably useless advice but it’s all i got 😫😫
