Awesome training. Question: I'm about to start as a Project Manager handling loss claims using Xactimate. The owner indicated that the homeowner was given a check for the entire loss claim produced by his former employee who handled the claim. Now, the homeowner does not want to pay his company the remaining $10k. He states the insurance company issued the check to the homeowner and not liable to have his company get paid for remediating the loss/damage. According to your section of training at 22:06 time stamp, inserting the mortgage companies information would have the insurance company issue the check to the mortgage company and homeowner to make sure it is spent in curing the loss. Is this something possible the former manager might have missed beings the homeowner was issued the entire check?
