The movie's color palette looks very vibrant and more saccharine at the same time. Also, the Nanny in this film is purely _EXTRA THICC._

im glad that 3D animated films are becoming a bit more stylized now. Spiderverse, Spongebob, Connected, and now this!
edit: some of y'all are mentioning Klaus and I love that film but I'm referring to 3D movies
edit2: is this what it's like to have 1k likes? i hate it here. everyone replies with the same thing and 😶

All i can say is that, the message of this story is totally deep. In reality, there are some parents who can actually abandon their children. And that makes me sad. What I love the most in this movie is when they've find out that there are people out there who are willing to accept and love them even they are not related by blood.

Just my opinion.
And by the way, it is true that this is one of the oddest movie Ive ever seen.( just watching hahahah)

I LOVE this movie, it carefully depicts that not all blood related parents can be a good guardian for the kids and most importantly, "the house that you lived in don't make it a home". That was a very good quote. Wishing for every kids who had to grow up in a broken family be able to find their own rainbows :)

I've never been more excited to see a kid's show, especially with Alessia Cara's voice acting debut. I already know the music coming out of here is gonna be amazing, the colours are so vibrant and gorgeous, and the characters seem really likable! Not to mention the cast is *chefs kiss*

As someone who was abandoned by their parents at six and taken into foster care for the next 17 years, I relate a lot to this. I get emotional in movies but I think I reacted much more deeply than I usually do. Like the Willoughbys I too, a white child, was being taken care of by a black family who felt more family than my own blood relatives. I began to call my foster parents mom and dad at ten. This little animated film touched me in a way no movie was able to in a long time. I'm now in college working to become a television producer and filmmaker.

When I saw the trailer, I thought the kids exaggerated about their bad parents, until I saw the movie. I was wrong.

I'm scrolling through the comments, trying to find anyone who's actually read the book.

Doesn't look like anyone has.

(In the book, there is no "people trying to capture the kids because they don't have parents" thing. Instead the parents try to sell the house while they're gone. Melanoff's candy factory isn't ever seen, and he's generally melancholy. The parents freeze to death on a mountain, and the kids continue to be somewhat psychopathic. And there is CERTAINLY NO RAINBOW BLIMP)

This movie was beautiful and taught that
A family can even be created out of love & care and being blood related alone is not necessarily can be called as a family 😊
