I have set this up on a tablet stationed at a front desk for students to come in to scan without anyone having to be there or having to hold a device to scan the students.

Everything works good, but how can I made 'DateTime' update on it's own? It doesn't update if I let the device sit with the QR scanner open.

Is it possible to add number of students and then it counts untill the class is full?
Like I have 20 students, with every scan it adds up till it reaches 20 and then it will notify me that my class is full. So even if a stranger entered it won't scan the code because its full.
