The only time my thyroid issues went away was when I stayed in Thailand for 3 months on an island and ate nothing but Thai food. I lost 40 pounds, my depression was gone my skin problems gone brain fog gone I felt amazing. Then I came back I gained it all back within a month and my mood was down again.. I try to eat healthy I don’t eat fast food I stay away from carbs.. what the hell is in our food?

Coriander and omega 3s are very effective for thyroid problems. Walnut oil is especially good.

I will give you a bizarre story, amazing, but true.

I was on thyroid glandular. I started doing Reflexology, which for thyroid involved massaging the stem of my big toes.

I went from nine tablets a day to no tablets.

Then the problem came back! I couldn’t figure out why. Then I started to reflect on what I had done for my thyroid glands. Not just massage, but I had also been briefly using tight flexible toe rings that put pressure on the stem area.

One of the toe rings got broken, and I couldn’t find any replacements online. So I just forgot about them as they were only an afterthought.

But then I decided to try that approach again. I put, medium size, thick rubber bands wrapped tightly around the stems of my toes until the color started to change on my toes to a slight blue. (That wasn’t painful and has done me no harm.)

Then I would take the rubber bands off. After one day, I no longer needed any thyroid glandular! I wasn’t cold anymore. I wasn’t tired and depressed anymore.

Of course I had been praying to know why things had gone from bad to good, and then back to bad again.

WEIGHT LOSS also for hyperthyroidism. Thyroid dysfunction isn't just hypothyroidism.

I had no idea about thyroid and what it does to our body until the day I was diagnosed with this disease. It is far more important than i thought. but from past few months I am taking medicines from Planet Ayurveda. Now i am fully aware of the changes due to medicines and that my life will never be the same again.

I have Hashimotos and the real best way to treat that and other thyroid related issues is to cut the gluten and dairy out of your diet. And take more selenium. (I’m currently on remission by the way). Also, toss out phthalate based products (synthetic fragrance) in house cleaning agents, makeup, and hair and body care products along with not taking iodine supplements.

If you look up Ashwahganda it tells you there's adverse effects with levothyroxine also they showed spinach they tell you to stay clear of that and oranges too I still eat them in moderation...so many conflicting information I'm at my wits end!

Why are men so upset about gender on here. They simply stated that it's high in woman, being 1 in 8 especially after birth and menopause. That is the only exclusion, statement was not designed to insult men.

That’s because when you go into the doctor and get x-rays they don’t even give a squat about protecting your thyroid. This is a doctor error problem.
