I've been doing ornaments from Kiriki Press for the past few years. First the ones that you showed. Last year they were all done in white stitching. This year I ordered the Advent calendar of 12 ornaments. So cute and so much fun. Even a novice can create a beautiful ornament.

I worked on my first Ingrid's square tonight and it was wonderful. I can't wait to finish it. I loved the stick on pattern and wondered where I could get more after I had used all of them in the Ingrid's Wildflower kit.

Jenny, I loved how you wrapped the yarn around the horses leg - same mistake I would do!

You should split the thread in half and use the loop method to start the stitch.

Jenny needs to learn how to thread embroidery needles by folding floss over the eye, pressing tight in a pinch, pull needle down and out while holding the folded floss in that pinch, then pushing the eye of the needle over the folded edge of floss you are still holding in a pinch but release pressure slightly. I taught this method years ago while being a Creative Expressions Rep/teacher. Anyone remember them?

Neat and fun project! I can tell that’s it’s very good quality wood but not in my budget🙃.
QUESTION- what is a dollahh(so?) horse!?! ❤️😀

So is this the Christmas embroidery you hinted about earlier? (Or is there a Christmas quilt embroidery like Ingrid’s flowers?)
