When he says that a cop can’t disobey an unlawful order, he is incompetent or telling a lie, or both.

A cop has an affirmative duty to disobey an order to violate his oath, and the constitutions.

What's wrong with filming the police? If they're not doing anything wrong they don't have anything to worry about

He’s being disingenuous; if someone is committing a crime, there’s no argument that the cop should take action.

However, where there is no crime no actions show be taken.

The cop is individually responsible for his actions; when he is asked to do something unconstitutional he has a duty to disobey.

If he really wants to have a dialogue between not only his local community but abroad the first thing he should do is revoke his Union stance and apologize for supporting Donald Trump who incited a mass terrorist attack on her Capital which resulted in the death of police officers and other departments. Never mind that Police association should not be endorsing candidates in the first place that would be a good place to start but we know they won't do that because the NYPD is one of the oldest and corrupt police divisions in the history of the world.

Why is this guy, a multimillionaire, speaking for the rank and file as if he is one of them. NYPD Officers much greater than this man have gone through the police academy, had illustrious careers, and retired, all while this man has held the position of President of the PBA. He hasn’t walked the beat in decades. What a disgusting waste of taxpayer money to fund this guy’s lifestyle. Enough is enough.

"Doesn't go exactly right" bzzzzt, that's BS. It's "when the justice system is allowed to investigate and charge an officer with the same basis for finding of guilt/liability as any other person". "We don't have the choice to not respond to help someone" another lie, they have no legal duty to reply, and they exercise that privilege all day, every day. "We aren't treated like professionals" yeah, you got that right, you aren't held accountable for your actions like other professionals.

Basically, he said that Eric Garner died to quickly. "Shame clings to murderers; its claws in their backs. It'll suck your blood until your guilt cries out." - Jonas Young, HARLOTS S3E5

Funny how he talks about painting with the same brush, when NYPD does the same! Pat Lynch NEVER holds his own accountable, even when there is overwhelming evidence of their wrongdoing.

"What about all the NYPD encounters that *didn't* result in murdering an innocent citizen with a rectal plunger? HUH???"
