How to Wrap a Roof in Carbon Fibre using Chromatic's CF-400 series Vinyl - Car Wrap Direct Ireland

In this video we use Chromatic Vinyl Films CF-400 Series Black Carbon Fibre with ADT (Air Drain Technology) which is easy to use and very flexible. We show to how to DIY wrap a roof of a Ford Focus ST. It should take no more than 1 hour to complete with 1 person and even less time with 2 people.

Only do it outdoors when the temp is above 18 degrees Celsius and no wind, otherwise do it indoors at room temp or above.

That looks good, however right in the middle near the back I have an antenna, how to you fit around that?

He use a glass technique whch is vry effctve to deal wth wrnkle, jus wndring how did he wrap the antenna, it shld be remove drng prep stage and also the roof rail, to ensure reliability the vinyl need to lay under espclly on the front, antenna, and roof rail, if not it will tear off by wind, rain, n heat.

You pay for what you get and this is cheap, should have realised, and no way is the stuff they sell the same as the stuff he is using, it was very thick, didnt stretch and stuck like superglue, it`s full of bubbles and looks crap . I would say it`s just a big sheet of fablon .! two of us did a rectangular roof on 22c cloudy day and took us 3 hours trying to get it right we are i`m hardly gamer teens, i`m a painter and decorator handyman and mate it a mechanic.

Is a full body wrap really doable on your own? I have an old Isuzu trooper jeep I want to wrap.

Yeah... probably the hardest part is wrapping it around the antenna, which they conveniently didn't show.

Does it match actual carbon fiber or will it stand out if i try to wrap it to make it match my hood and trunk lid? (cant afford an actual carbon fiber roof panel at the moment)

Does the paintwork on the surface being wrapped need to be perfect? I have a polo 9N with peeling clearcoat on the roof and bonnnet, was thinking about a wrap?
