CBN is second to diamond.

Also it fries and breaks down and leaves a nicer finish than diamond.

How soft of a metal can i use on silicon carbide stones on HRC hardness scale? I've bought some silicon barbide stones from gritomatic as far as I know only harder metals should be used on them, but what if I have metals that are 57 on HRC scale, is that okay to use silicon carbide on them?
