Here’s the thing, all degeneracy comes across indiscriminately from all different kinds of platforms, along with the pedophilic activities. It is clearly an internet problem that has been growing for a while, we can make the argument all day about the furry community and its negative aspect, but at the end of the day, these problems lingers elsewhere as well, not just furries.

Hey I saw me! (the fursuit B-roll at the start) tbh this was tough to watch but it definitely needed to be shared. A lot of furries misunderstand criticisms against the fandom because a majority of it is unfounded (we bark at ppl stuff like that) but that creates a problem when VALID criticisms are overlooked. I feel like Ruben has a father/guardian mindset, he wants to keep as many people safe as possible, but can sometimes step over the edge or be too intense. Overall, I think Ruben is one of the few respectable people in the Roblox community. I think people just love to hate, and don't ever look at what positives people bring. Just because he makes edgy jokes or isn't an angel doesn't mean what he does (exposing horrible people and pushing for better moderation on roblox) should be overlooked or pushed under the rug.

3:48 is exactly what Ruben should be saying. The issue is not the existence of the adult portion, the issue is when the adult portion is brought to a children's platform.

Ruben is hypercritical and takes an extremist stance on the community as a whole, which is especially dangerous considering the majority of his fans are gen alpha kids who already have warped perceptions.

Don't get me wrong, he does good things, look at him helping eliminate unfathomable amounts of NSFW content off of Roblox, and for that I'm glad he does (I mean, heck, I'm in his server),

Once I was playing tf2 and some guy was making sexual jokes towards a furry and the furry was like, “wtf” Another guy started doing it in chat too, then when chat guy went towards those jokes to me I said I am 12 and he still made those jokes jokingly, the furry disagreed with this and left because of this. Ruben is honestly a horrible cherry picker. Even in the start, his archived stream literally has videos inserted of VERY specific cases of BAD PEOPLE within the fandom. Honestly I used to be into Ruben's content for a bit, both his old videos and his posts calling out gross af people, INCLUDING furries. I will say over all he has done a lot for the roblox community and I won't deny that. However at some point with how often he brought up furries and how much he disliked people for being furries, it really did start to feel like he just hated them. Even ones who didn't do anything. It felt like someone I liked watching would actually just hate me for just my interests, which I've dealt with enough to grow sick of.

His call outs on gross behavior like the stuff on the store and all of that is good, I just feel like I'm hated for simply existing whenever he brings up furries.
