WOW, what are the specs on your demo claves? (brand/model/wood/hollow?) THIS is a perfect, "text-book" clave sound/tone!!

Wow. I have never heard claves that sound that good, and I’ve never encountered a pair that weren’t identical. Is there a certain name I could Google to home in on to find a pair similar to yours that may have a hollower cylinder on one side?

I came here to remind myself what it sounds like... and you refuse to PLAY THE DUMB THINGS until the final seconds! UGH. ALWAYS start off with a demo, THEN explain. Sheesh, you're like the guy who won't allow the student to touch their instrument until the 2nd week of "air" lessons.
