America always held itself up as the great home of democracy. That notion is now a sad ironic joke.
In Australia we have a truly independent electoral commission that sets all electoral boundaries, runs all elections and counts votes and voting is compulsory. Americans could learn a lot from Australia. That is not to say that we don’t have corrupt and incompetent politicians and we also have a biased (Murdoch) media but at least our voting system is open and fair.

If anyone in this video actually cared about voting they have all the solutions but would rather just keep the fighting going on for years.
1. Make photo ID’s free for all Americans
2. Federally fund a paid day off work to vote like every other first world democracy.
No……. You don’t want to do that? Of course not as it would stop all so called anti voting bills for the rest of time and you would have nothing to argue and fight about anymore.

We MUST win the war of messaging. The majority of voters (those at the back of the spear handle as far away from the tip as they can get) vote based strictly on information delivered through a headline, one-liner, trope, insult, joke, or a plethora of other ways to deliver a memorable line. Their information portal is based in the minimum information possible that they believe is real snd all they need. I know this us insulting to those voters (who probably don’t know who they are) but we have to get down in their level with that type of messaging it you will lose their vote. Use words that scare them like “SENATE BILL 202 IS SOCIALISM” and that’s all the information they need.
