I went outside to enjoy nature. It was a cool sunny afternoon. I could hear the sounds of birds flying through the air. I called for my dog rover. He came to me faster than a bullet. I threw his favorite toy towards the woods behind my house. I watched him chase the toy into the woods, but suddenly, he vanished. I called his name three times, but there was no sign of him. I walked into the woods, expecting to see rover, but instead, I saw a world that wasn't my own. A world completely covered in ash. I turned around to see my house as a pile of ruble...

Eathen was looking out the window, the mountains slowly growing larger on the horizon. Eathen loved mountains he loved the way there craggy peaks gently pushed against the sky. And there snow capped tops where always shining white. He taped the window gently, .... . .-.. .-.. --- / -- --- ..- -. - .- .. -. ... -.-.-- eathen was only nine years old but he knew lots of things, he knew Morse code, German, and French. He also knew everything about mountains.
Suddenly the car swerved of the road and eathen was jolted out of his thoughts.
"Sorry bud" eathens mom said after seeing he son's confused expression. "Just making a pit stop"
As They pulled in the a rest stop eathen noticed something dash behind a tree, it looked almost like a fox of some sort but it was hot pink.
"Mom can I get out?" Eathen asked already unbuckling.
"Yes" his mom said dismissively waving her hand.
Without a word eathen hoped out of the red mini van and dashed for the trees. He wanted to find the fox thing before it was to late.
There! behind a tree he saw it, definitely a fox. He stopped running and reached in the his pocket. All he had was a old Cheeto. He held it out and slowly squatted down. The fox glared at him. Then it nimbly jumped between to old hemlocks and vanished.
Eathen rubbed his eyes in shock, had it really just disappeared? He slowly walked twords the trees and examined them. Nothing. Slowly he walked between them. Hi didn't disappear. So he went back to the parking lot disappointed. maybe he was hallucinating, he was probably dehydrated.
The car was gone. Gone. No red mini van in sight. Eathen, panicking ran to the road. But there was no sign of it.
"M-mom?" He called. No answer "MOM!" he yelled. Nothing, she was gone and she left him. He looked around. Oddly everything seemed more saturated. Like a poorly edited photo. And there where no cars in the parking lot at all, before there had been at least five.
Then he saw it the fox. It was glaring at him again. This time it walked up to him. But as it got closer it changed. Like a mirage on the road that disappears when you get close. The fox melted away reviling and old woman. Her hair was the same hot pink as the fox, and her eyes the same sharp green. Her skin was an odd pale green and her mouth curved in to a wide fox like smile.
" Welcome little one" she rasped, her voice was like nails on a chalk board, and hail on a tin roof a cacophony of noises that mingled together
" Welcome to the other side"

It was 6:20 and there was 4 people, they were all playing tag. He was running away and ran through 2 trees, he then went into a new world and got confused the second i went in there, "where am i?" the young boy said to himself, "where am i?" the boy repeated a second after, he was in a world full of candy, he then went through the 2 trees again and went back to the normal world. "Where were you?" a friend asked a few seconds later, the boy responded with "a place full of candy, lets go to the other 2 and ask if we all can go inside it together!" they then went to them and said if they wanted to go there and they were unsure, they thought it was suspicious, but they agreed anyway. When they all went in there, the young boy grabbed a piece of candy and ate it. The candy was so yummy! after everyone tried it, they all got some candy and went back but to put the candy away and eat it later and went back for more, but when they got there, the boy tried going through the 2 trees again but the invisible portal disappeared. They all then went back their houses and slept.
