N4C will be $100,000 AoE4 tournament happening from the 5th-13th of March with the invited players TheViper & DeMusliM and the casters Grubby, Aussie_Drongo, Dave_AoE and Nili_Aoe.

I really don't get how you can take a tournament like NAC, which is completely focused on the tight group of AoE2 players bantering and hanging out in the apartment, and replace the game entirely. Do we really think the AoE4 scene is developed enough to carry it in that social way? The only people who know each other are the various groups who came from other games, and relatively few AoE2 players are playing AoE4 at this level. Does this mean NAC4 could happen anyway since "N4C" is AoE4? Really confusing stuff.

I really hope there is some form of capture age available. Really difficult to judge/follow the games right now

What I am excited about is that there will be new players to see in live action - I only follow AoE2 but quite intensely for the last years, so having a few players that are not part of the AoE2 scene in there (assuming they qualify) will make the people dimension of the franchise expand, it's time for some new blood in the player scene. I was happy with Vinchester and Sitaux performances recently, and the RBW5 event was great.
Can't beat AoE2 as a game though... I will still watch some N4C action, also to support Nili, but I'd be more hyped for NAC.

As an aoe2 fan it's a bit sad that we haven't gotten NAC 4 but good luck with this. Hopefully it's a great success and we can get as much content as possible for both games going forward.

This sounds amazing. I barely watch AoE4 but will definitely tune in for this. You can expect people to really pull out the stops for a tournament of this scale. Players with HR monitors sounds hilarious!

Really sad tbh, but things do change and ways do seperate in life, that's how it is.

Biggest disappointment when it comes to announcements. That amount of money into aoe4 which is in an absolute cruel state feels absolutely not good.

cant wait to see the tournament. Whil e I didnt play much age 4 to this point, its mainly because I personally find RTS too exhausting atm. If I were to play one it would be age 4 though, it has much more interesting gameplay mechanics than 2 had imo .

Actually somewhat sad to see soo much rather negative opinions here regarding age 4 in general. It seemed the international audience was more in favor of that.

Well atleast that explains why unlike the rest of GL you're still playing aoe4^^
I'm actually really worried for this one, there's so much which can go wrong just alone the fact that you have to rely on great Patches.
Hope it will go well for you, even though I don't watch aoe4.
