Door closer standard installation.

Door closers have different installation methods due to different scenarios and different requirements, among which there are three most common ones: suspension installation, standard installation and parallel installation.

Thanks for this video! I had to disassemble mine and couldnt figure out why it wouldn't work. When the door is closed the bar connected to the wall should be facing straight out while the bar connected to the door should be at an angle and under stress. I hope that makes sense.
