On October 16th, 2019 country music icon Tanya Tucker performed the first of two sold-out, standing-room only shows at L.A.'s legendary Troubadour. In the midst of resurgent visibility and acclaim generated by While I'm Livin', her recently released album produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, the brief stand in front of the West Hollywood tastemaker crowd took on a palpable air of significance. Was Tanya really back and ready to reclaim her rightful place in pantheon of country music greats?
