Legendary music producer Jimmy Iovine, best known for co-founding Interscope Records and chairing Interscope Geffen A&M, joined Mandalay Entertainment founder and CEO Peter Guber for an exclusive discussion in the UCLA Anderson Leaders on Leadership course Guber co-teaches annually. Iovine, who launched his career as a recording engineer and decades later teamed with Dr. Dre to found Beats Electronics, told MBA students that talent is always the most desirable attribute in an employee, managers let their employees work through issues on their own, and good leaders make sure all tech necessary is available to students at any level.
