LYRICS

lost in a moment
try to immerse
longing for romance
for better or worse

yeah you were the symptom
i was the cause
just trying to look back on
all that i was

now that i know
i'll forget
all that you said

trying to let go
and forget
all that we had

the moon is still out there
high up above
i know that you're somewhere
looking for love

yeah you were the symptom
i was the cause
just trying to look back on
all that i was

now that i know
i'll forget
all that you said

trying to let go
and forget
all that we had
all that we've been through
no time for regret
but still coming back to
the day that we met

yeah you were the symptom
i was the cause
just trying to look back on
all that i was

now that i know
i'll forget
all that you said

trying to let go
and forget
all that we had

now that i know
i'll forget
all that you said

trying to let go
and forget
all that we had

This by far is my favorite. So mysterious, so funky, so lyrical

I love how you can hear the musical growth in this album- it’s fresh and new and you can tell he’s experimented with new sounds but I also love how there’s commonalities between polydans and his earlier stuff. whether it’s with the instrumentation or the lyrics or how a certain word/ phrase is sung. like I love how “forget” sounds similar to “belong” in the beginning.

Is that...a thriller sample? If so, amazing way to incorperate that into this amazing song.

This tune motivates me when I'm studying, but the urge to dance is bigger!

How the entire first half of the song is building up to a single moment (2:27) is so cool! It really builds up that anxiety that song seems to never end ❤️

The progressive layering reminds me a bit of LCD soundsystem. It's so good

Roosevelt - Forget the beginning of this song reminds me of Michael Jackson - Thriller

"Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'awl's neighborhood…"

This song's progression reminds me a bit the one in "In The Air Tonight" by Phil Collins, but here it's way better. Absolutely love this track and album! Sending love from Poland 🇵🇱
