I was extremely sick and depressed for about a week ( somthing very traumatic happened and I was so sad I literally got sick) and I didn’t wear my retainer for a week and I was completely fine. I still fit after the whole week! Dentists over exaggerate stuff

been wearing my retainer since November after braces and after 2 days it feels perfectly fine. If your scared about wearing one and how it’s gonna hurt forever, it’s not. Trust me! just take ibuprofen!
