Subsea Umbilical Flushing Unit (SUFU)

Paradigm’s SUFU system safely recovers fluids during flushing operations of subsea umbilical assemblies.

As chemicals become emulsified, they can create blockages within umbilicals, which is often costly and difficult to flush without discharging them into the sea.

SUFU contains a fluid recovery bladder that provides secure storage for chemicals and fluids. It can be used to hold a range of hazardous and non-eco-friendly fluids including crude oil.

The system is already being used to meet environmental challenges, mitigating environmental and cost impacts.

SUFU was recently nominated for The Environmentalist Award at the Offshore Achievement Awards 2015.
