As an African American man, i vividly remember the trauma under Thrump deportation plan six years ago. I cried when i saw children by themselves crying in cages. My heart broke in pieces as i watch a five year old girl cried hysterically as her mother was taken away in handcuff. How could Hispanic voters forget that pain and vote for Thrump is beyond my comprehension.

My mom was from Brazil and never became a citizen I believe because she came here in the 60’s when Jim Crow laws were in effect. She said I never understood all the greatness I heard about this country when blacks were being treated like this. She sat me down one day and said I cannot vote because I am not a citizen but you can. Never forget where you came from and never vote republican no matter how successful you become. Her words are more true than ever today and she has passed 20 years ago. God rest her wisdom and soul.
