Madness - Our House (12'' Extended Version) - 1982

Written by Chris Foreman and Carl Smyth / Madness the song was released on the album "Rise & Fall". Although quiet diverse in fact of ska & reggae influences this track by "Madness" got #1 in Sweden, Canada, New Zealand. #8 in Germany, #5 in the UK and #7 in the US. A great success.

Also the 12" remix gained lots of reputation as it totally stripped the track into pieces. One of the greatest remix versions in general in our opinion.

of course we do not own any rights but thought it is a good idea to share our musical roots and so support their / our music.

The FINEST MIX THERE IS! It takes it apart, shows you the tricks, then comes back together and has you bopping like Dawn from "The Young Ones" last episode, "Summer Holiday"! Really dislike the parts where the song completely falls apart. From a DJ's perspective that is awful. Would just kill the floor. Otherwise this is cool af.
