The “pro player camera settings option” is actually only available with bakkesmod, so it’s not really a part of rocket league itself.

For input buffer, it basically scales up or down the time of your games' simulation to match the input stream and your internet connection. Basically, default means no change, STS will actively adjust the buffer, and CSTS is a more aggressive version of STS. Essentially, if you have a good connection, then use default or STS. If you have a poor connection then try CSTS. Later, change it back to default or STS and if you start lagging again then leave it on CSTS. But generally, most people should just stay on default or STS. Personally I like STS, but this will depend on your own personal connection.

Hey Jack !! I’ve been following you for such a long and I’ve been to a lan to watch you in person. You’ve always been one of my favorite pros alongside retals and garret… I play on ps4, highest peak at high champ 3. I’ve never been able to do much about the incredible imput lag I play with. I grind 1’s and 2’s, and am really mechanical, but I’m inconsistent from such a handicap. I have such a passion for the game, but it’s not fun to play like this.. I didn’t know a simple change of settings could alter my game so much. I’ve played like this for years, and now I finally have a fix after watching your video. It feels great already !! Thank you so much

I tried your settings a week or 2 ago because my settings suck, but I'm just too used to them. I'm turning 40 this year and got to Champ for the first time last season (currently sitting at C1div4) and I do feel I could improve with boost on a better button to make fast aerials easier, but tbh, learning completely new settings is gonna take me way too long (age is def a factor here) and I just don't want to feel like a complete newbie again for many weeks at the very least. I highly doubt I'll ever make GC anyway, so I guess my current settings will just have to do haha.
Anyhoo, keep up the good work Jack, Ill be rooting for GenG in RLCS

Awesome video, Jack! I've been a huge follower for a long time now and have learned so much from you. I have one question from the video. I'm mid C2 in duos and bordering D3/D2 in solos and am currently running L1/R1 Airroll left/right with Square powerslide/airroll. When using boost on R1, do you use your index finger for managing both R1/R2 for boost/throttle? or do you throw your middle finger into the mix? If you happen to see this thanks in advance. You inspired me to make the big button swap change next season.

Thanks for sharing this Jack. I've always messed with these settings especially when looking at other players (Sunless) but its nice to hear from a pro that you shouldnt be afraid to adjust settings even if you've become comfortable with what you use. Gonna use the game speed tip as I've never actually done that for warmup

Your settings videos are one of a kind and really the best settings in Rocket League.
Keep it up.

Hey man. I've used your camera settings for a year or two now, and anyone that looks at my view says it's way too high. I've liked the benefit of watching the defense during ground plays, but I'm trying something lower for awhile to get better at air stuff.
Thanks for keeping us updated! I would love to see a series based on how well you so if you try other players' camera settings (starting with a game on your normal settings) . Cheers mate.

I have like 4000 hrs on the game and this is my first time turning v sync off and holy shi man, my speed flips are twice as fast and my areals are so much smoother. Thx jack

If you want to incorporate stalls into your gameplay, you could turn your deadzone up to around 15-20 without losing too much precise movement.

I like your tips and how you explain it. Even if, as a German, I don't always understand everything 😂

Glad i saw your video! I have the same controller bindings and was almost convinced to change away from R1 boost. Do you just fat thumb Square and X to speed flip? And how do you hold your first jump to delay the dodge?

Jack mate, when you were going through cam settings you had your cam height at 100 when you first showed it. Then I think you accidentally put it up to 110. Just letting you know. Great video btw!<3

I would love to see you use my keyboard only movement controls for an idea of the skill ceiling with my settings
