Hi. Thanks for your videos. I've been watching your videos for a long time now. Pretty sure all of them, but never commented on any. I absolutely had to comment on the work you've put in on the HBM. You have done a really great job, she's gonna be a joy to run once all finished. A Bonny, a beauty and a joy forever. Looking forward to flashing it up.

I think these older machines turned snd fed so slow that they needed less oiling then our newer ones with high speed tooling. Plus HBMs from this era where truely just for boring and most of the feeding action was the splindle travers. I have an 1942 Giddings and Lewis model 25rt and it's not much different build then yours. Mine was manufactured with metering units in the oiling system and only used a couple wicks. I replaced all the metering units and noticed that they did not supply a great deal of oil either. I use my HBM as my main milling and boring machine and always adding oil maually to help keep it lubed. I go easy on my machine as I do rely on it probably far more than it was designed for.
Beautiful machine you have🍻

What an amazing undertaking. It is coming together nicely and will be a museum piece for sure.
Will you be able to use it? Maybe it will be too pretty to use for fear of scratching the paint.
Love the shaper work on the internal ring gear. Well done.
Great job sir, great job. Looking forward to seeing the completion.
Thanks for sharing

Just a thought on oiling the lead screw put a metering valve on the line where it comes out of the housing just before it goes to the lead screw that way if it’s over oiling cut it back so it doesn’t make a big mess and you have done a great job on that mill

I think you do the youtube thing right. Not to say others do not, thanks for taking the stills so we can see the stages. Really sweet looking machine after the TLC. You post a video when you can; no worries that we would like to see more. Pretty cool set ups and that Ironworker demonstration some years back. Truth is i like all you Machinist guys who are willing to share
some of what you do. I need to learn to slow the "F" down for this kind of work.
I hail from balls to the wall big numbers productivity from a kind of like Olympic pace production environment. So it is difficult to change.
Bad ass HBM man! I like the improvements. ? I wonder if the manual is written in French?

Thanks for the update looking very nice. I like the updates you are doing on the oilers should help make it last a long time. Maybe won't be long before its back making chips. LOL.

Its looking really nice I like the cream colour. Great job putting the additional oil ways in. Like you say you can never have too much oil.
